One of the best recommendations you can make for sensitive skin
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The following are the most frequently asked questions about the Free & Gentle laundry regimen for sensitive skin.
Q. As a Healthcare Professional, should I avoid recommending softeners to patients with sensitive skin?
Q. If Tide Pods Free & Gentle is not completely cleaning the load, is there a reason?
A. Patients are often unaware that they have to put more than 1 pac in the machine when washing a larger load.
Q. What are Tide Free & Gentle strengths vs. other fragrance free detergents?
Q. Why do I have to use Downy Free & Gentle, if I’m using Bounce Free & Gentle or vice versa?
A. Both products should be used in unison as they provide different benefits. Downy Free & Gentle offers conditioning sensitive skin benefits that can reduce friction between clothes and skin, while Bounce Free & Gentle further enhances the fabric care process with an anti-static treatment specially formulated to repel animal hair from clothes. Q. Why is it important for patients to use all three Free & Gentle products?
A. To get the full benefits of the Free & Gentle system, the entire laundry routine needs to be free. Using Tide Free & Gentle will provide better cleaning, Downy Free & Gentle offers outstanding softening that can reduce friction between fabric and skin, while Bounce Free & Gentle’s anti-static treatment is specially formulated to repel animal hair from clothes to help avoid reactions for sensitive skin patients.
Q. Can more than one pac be used for a heavy wash load?
A. Yes. Using more than 1 pac for larger loads is actually recommended.
Q. Does Downy Free & Gentle fabric conditioner shorten the life of clothes?
A. No. Downy Free & Gentle fabric conditioner smooths and strengthens fibres to protect clothes from stretching, fading and fuzz by conditioning every fibre.
Q. How do you use Tide Pods Free & Gentle properly to ensure they completely dissolve?
A. Place the required number of Tide PODS pacs, based on the load size, into the laundry machine. Then fill the washer with laundry and turn machine on. For regular size loads - 1 pac. For large size loads - 2 pacs. For extra-large size loads - 3 pacs
